unfortunately the grout is not. Porous grout can become stained
and unevenly colored groutplus specializes in cleaning ceramic
and porcelain tiles and grout. We have developed processes that
deep clean the tile and remove tough stains from the grout. Your
tile and grout will look like brand new again and will be completely
sanitized. For best results, have your grout sealed after it is
professional cleaned to help prevent re-staining.
Terracotta Tile or Saltillo Tile
Terracotta tile or Saltillo tile is one of the oldest ceramic materials
made by man. This type of tile is created by mixing clay and water,
leaving it to dry naturally and then baking it in a kiln. Saltillo tile has
particular characteristics that demand special treatment. groutplus
offers cleaning and sealing for this type of floor. For best results,
have your terracotta tile or saltillo sealed after cleaning. Saltillo tile
can be sealed with either a topical sealer to give it a super shine
or a penetrating sealer for a matte finish.
Travertine, Marble, Limestone, Granite, Slate and other natural
stone
Natural stones flooring is very beautiful but can be very hard to
maintain depending on the type of stone. Natural stones can be
very dense and strong like granite or can be very porous, easily
scratched and can become dull with wear such as marble,
travertine and limestone. Special care needs to be taken when
cleaning and maintaining natural stone surfaces. groutplus has
many years of experience cleaning, sealing, repairing, honing and
polishing all types of natural stone surfaces.
